HB 2494 -- EMPLOYMENT SECURITY

This bill changes the total amount of unemployment compensation benefits an insured worker may receive during a benefit year.

Currently, that amount is limited to the lesser of 20 times his or her weekly benefit, or 33 1/3% of his or her wage credits.

This bill changes the benefit maximum from 20 to 26 times the weekly benefit amount.

This bill is similar to HB 588 (2025) and HB 2049 (2024).
