This bill prohibits certain sexual offenders, described in the bill, from loitering within 500 feet of any condominium or apartment complex swimming pool, regardless of whether the offender resides at the apartment or condominium complex. Starting August 28, 2026, no person found guilty of any of the offenses specified in the bill can establish residence at an apartment or condominium complex that has a pool. The first violation of the provisions of this bill is a class E felony, and a second or subsequent violation is a class D felony.
