Currently, a user fee of $4 is collected by every Recorder of Deeds in the state as a condition to the recording of any instrument or document, of which $1 is credited to the Missouri Land Survey Fund to fund the Missouri Land Survey Program. This bill increases the user fee to $5 and credits $2 to the fund.
The bill also authorizes the Department of Agriculture to establish by rule fees necessary to reflect the cost of production and reproduction of certain instruments and records.
