Currently, members of the General Assembly are prohibited from holding employment with the United States, the State of Missouri, or any municipality thereof. Upon voter approval, this constitutional amendment permits members of the General Assembly to hold employment with a school district.
This resolution is similar to HJR 34 (2025)and HJR 96 (2024).
