This bill amends provisions related to expert witnesses to clarify that an expert witness can testify in the form of an opinion or otherwise if the proponent of the testimony demonstrates to the court that it is more likely than not that the qualifications regarding the expert testimony will be met.
This bill is similar to HB 263 (2025).
