This bill relates to members of the General Assembly. The bill requires the sponsor of a bill to remain present for the entirety of the public hearing on that bill. The sponsor can leave the room for less than 10 minutes to attend to health or personal needs but not for meals or meetings.
This bill is similar to HB 1392 (2025).
