This bill requires the Department of Social Services to ensure caseworkers who assist persons aging out of the foster care system receive specialized training, the parameters of which are to be set by the Department.
Additionally, the bill updates references to two nationally recognized entities, the Council on Accreditation for Children and Families and the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities.
