This bill designates the city of Dexter as the "Rib City" for the State of Missouri.
PROPONENTS: Supporters say that the city of Dexter has a long history of excellent BBQ restaurants that have stood the test of time. This designation will help bring tourism to Dexter which will be great for the local economy.
Testifying in person for the bill were Representative Jordan and David Wyman, City Of Dexter.
OPPONENTS: There was no opposition voiced to the committee.
