Currently, estimates for annual State budget requests are submitted to the budget director on forms created by the director for that purpose.
This bill allows the House budget chair and the Senate appropriation chair to create the forms, upon advice from the budget director, and allows the chairs to require additional detail and information from the departments as outlined in the bill.
