This bill increases the requirement for juror compensation, in most counties that are subject to Section 494.455, RSMo, from $6 per day to $25 per day of actual petit or grand jury service.
The bill requires any employer of a juror that actually serves on the jury to compensate the employee his or her daily average minimum compensation for each day he or she serves in addition to the juror compensation.
This bill is similar to HB 1848 (2022).
