HB 1517 -- THE USE OF ORGANIZED LABOR FOR CERTAIN STATE CONTRACTS

In letting contracts for the performance of any job relating to certain industries specified in the bill, the state must give preference to bidders whose employees are members of labor organizations, as defined in the bill, when the quality of performance is equal or better and the price quoted is the same or less or whenever comparable bids are comparable.
