This bill repeals a requirement that a case involving the recovery of money up to $25,000 or a case against a railroad to recover damages for killing or injuring animals be heard and determined by a circuit judge unless an associate circuit judge is assigned or transferred to hear and determine the case under local rules if a plaintiff designates at the time of filing that the case be heard and determined under the civil practice and procedure applicable before circuit judges.
