AN ACT To repeal section 227.503, RSMo, and to enact in lieu thereof two new sections relating to the Heart of America Bridge.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:

Section A. Section 227.503, RSMo, is repealed and two new sections enacted in lieu 2 thereof, to be known as sections 227.503 and 227.887, to read as follows: 227.503. The bi-directional pedestrian and bicycle path on the Sam Graves Heart of 2 America Bridge, which carries Route 9 over the Missouri River in Kansas City, Missouri, 3 shall be designated the "Bob Watts Memorial Bicycle & Pedestrian Bridge". The department 4 of transportation shall erect and maintain appropriate signs designating such pedestrian and 5 bicycle lane, with the costs to be paid for by private donations. 227.887. The Heart of America Bridge, which carries Route 9 over the Missouri 2 River in Kansas City, shall be renamed the "Sam Graves Heart of America Bridge". 3 The department of transportation shall erect and maintain appropriate signs 4 designating such bridge, with the costs to be paid by private donations. ✔
