This bill adds the Missouri Medicaid Audit and Compliance Unit as an appropriate division as it relates to existing statutes governing the appeals process for applicants or recipients of benefits or services. It additionally repeals a provision of existing law prohibiting the administrative hearing commission from granting a stay order where the claim has arisen under a program funded by federal dollars unless it is specified in writing by the financial section of the appropriate federal agency that federal financial participation would continue under the stay order.
