SJR 57 - This constitutional amendment, if approved by the voters, guarantees the right of persons to enjoy the following separate spaces in institutions or organizations receiving public funds without having to share those spaces with persons of the opposite sex: (1) bathrooms; (2) locker rooms; (3) athletic or sports teams unless otherwise intended to be coeducational; (4) domestic violence shelters and rape crisis centers; (5) prisons, jails, or correctional centers; and (6) other spaces where biology, safety, and privacy are implicated.
