SB 595 - This act repeals the August 28, 2027, expiration of a provision of law that prohibits a student at an elementary, secondary, or postsecondary educational institution from participating on an athletic team that is designated for the biological sex opposite to such student's biological sex as stated on his or her official birth certificate. This act is identical to HCS/HBs 113, 624 & 36 (2025), SB 1246 (2024), HB 1981 (2024), HB 2145 (2024), and provisions in HCS/SS#2/SCS/SB 10 (2025) and HB 1354 (2025).
