This bill modifies the definition of "grain dealer" for the purposes of the Missouri Grain Dealer Law. Currently, livestock or poultry producers must purchase more than 50,000 bushels of grain to be considered a grain dealer. The bill removes the 50,000 bushel threshold for these producers.
This bill is the same as HB 2196 (2024).
