The bill prohibits health benefit plans that provide coverage for anesthesia services from denying coverage for anesthesia services or imposing any cap on the reimbursement amount for anesthesia services, on the basis that the duration of a procedure that the anesthesia services are performed exceeds a particular time limit.
This bill contains an emergency clause.
