This bill requires each state department to, on a quarterly basis, report to the Department of Economic Development all costs incurred by the Department as a result of immigration for the preceding quarter. The reporting requirement will begin on September 1, 2025. The reports must be delivered to the General Assembly and made available to the public on the Department of Economic Development's website.
This bill is similar to HB 1822 (2024).
