SB 488 - This act modifies the definition of "certified funds" for purposes of a statute regulating the use of certain funds by real estate settlement agents and title insurance agents.

This act is identical to provisions in the truly agreed to and finally passed SS/SCS/SB 98 (2025), the truly agreed to and finally passed SS/SCS/HB 754 (2025), and HCS#2/SS/SCS/SB 835 (2024), and substantially similar to HB 1257 (2025) and SCS/SB 836 (2024).
