This bill authorizes a sales tax exemption for all sales of diapers, incontinence products, feminine hygiene products, and vitamins or minerals used to support prenatal and menstrual phases.
This bill is similar to HB 2112, HB 1474, and HB 1579 (2024).
PROPONENTS: Supporters say that for the prenatal exemption, this bill is needed to ensure the health and safety of both mom and baby through the pregnancy. Others who testified on the bill in support expressed wishes that the bill would go farther and authorize additional exemptions.

OPPONENTS: There was no opposition voiced to the committee.
