SB 486 - This act authorizes the county council of a charter county to approve the nomination of individuals to the board of trustees of a public library district; approve the budget of a library district and oversee such district's disbursements of funds; and approve or deny a library district's request to submit a proposal to the voters to raise taxes. The provisions of this act shall apply in any county, city-county, or consolidated public library district that includes a charter county.
