SB 204 - This act establishes the Missouri Geospatial Advisory Council within the Office of Administration. The Council is charged with assisting and advising the state in ensuring the availability, implementation, and enhancement of a statewide geospatial data infrastructure common to all jurisdictions through research, planning, training, and education. Appointed members of the Council shall serve three-year terms and shall serve until their successors are appointed. The duties and responsibilities of the Council are described in the act.

This act is identical to the introduced SB 1039 (2024) and the introduced SB 653 (2023) and substantially similar to a provision in SCS/HB 475 (2023).
