SJR 35 - Currently, assessors of all charter counties except for Jackson County are required to be elected officers. This proposed Constitutional amendment, if approved by the voters, removes this exception for Jackson County.

This amendment is identical to HJR 79 (2024), HCS/HJR 68 (2024), SJR 46 (2022), SJR 10 (2021), SJR 47 (2020), and SJR 17 (2017) and is substantially similar to SJR 55 (2024) and SJR 13 (2023).
