SB 296 - This act enacts "The Foreign Unmanned Aircraft Law", prohibiting public entities from acquiring or using small unmanned aircraft systems manufactured or assembled by certain foreign entities.

The act also creates a grant program in which the Department of Public Safety will provide grants to public entities for the replacement of small unmanned aircraft systems not in compliance with the act.

This act is similar to HB 751 (2025) and HB 930 (2025).
