HB 288 -- SUNSHINE LAW REQUESTS

SPONSOR: Proudie

Currently, governmental bodies may charge a person making a sunshine request a fee for labor and materials necessary to comply with the request.

This bill exempts members of the General Assembly from the requirement to pay a fee for the labor required to comply with a sunshine request, but provides that members of the General Assembly may be charged a fee for necessary materials.
