COMMITTEE ACTION: Voted "Do Pass" by the Special Committee on Tourism by a vote of 11 to 0.
This bill specifies that the Department of Transportation, in consultation with the Ozark Highland Distillers Guild, will erect and maintain suitable markings and signs designating the Ozark Highlands Spirits Region.
This bill is the same as HB 2414 (2024).
PROPONENTS: Supporters say that this will not cost anything for the State and it will bring people to the region to try the spirits.
