This bill designates Branson as the "Live Entertainment Capital" of Missouri.
This bill is the same as HB 2320 (2024).
PROPONENTS: Supporters say that Branson is one of the largest tourist destinations in Missouri. Branson has 55,967 theater seats, which is more than Broadway in New York City. This bill will bring even more attention to Branson and all it has to offer.
Testifying in person for the bill were Representative Seitz; and City of Branson.
OPPONENTS: There was no opposition voiced to the committee.
