This bill makes the carrying of a concealed knife, firearm, or blackjack, without a concealed carry permit, an offense punishable as a class B misdemeanor.
Currently, the process for obtaining a concealed carry permit or lifetime or extended concealed carry permit requires an affidavit attesting certain requirements are met. This bill instead requires proof that the applicant has satisfied the requirements of Section 571.111, RSMo.
This bill is the same as HB 2680 (2024).
