HB 2809 -- INVESTIGATIONS BY THE OFFICE OF CHILD ADVOCATE

Currently, the Office of Child Advocate is able to file any findings or reports of the office regarding a parent or a child that is in protective services to the court, as well as issue recommendations regarding the disposition of an investigation.

This bill requires that for any disposition of investigations by the Office of Child Advocate that contain recommendations relating to a state agency, the agency is required to provide responses to any such recommendation within 30 days after the receipt of the disposition letter.
