Currently, offenders convicted of certain sexual offenses will be ordered by the court to pay restitution. This bill adds that offenders who have been convicted of pornography- or obscenity- related offenses will be required to pay restitution to an identifiable victim. The minimum restitution such offenders will be required to pay is $3,000 for each moving or still image of a victim and, in cases of violations of sexual offenses, the minimum restitution will be $5,000 per charged offense.
