This bill specifies that if a county or city, as described in the bill, houses an inmate or detainee who is a resident of another county or city, the city or county of residence must reimburse the city or county that houses the inmate or detainee for the daily cost of housing.
Upon enactment this bill applies to St. Louis City, St. Louis County, and St. Charles County.
