HJR 130 -- GENERAL ASSEMBLY

Upon voter approval, this Constitutional amendment would prohibit the General Assembly from amending or repealing any statutory measure submitted by initiative petition and approved by voters, unless:

(1) Six years have passed;

(2) The proposed change is approved by 3/4 of the members of both chambers; or

(3) The proposed change is submitted to and approved by voters in a referendum.

This bill is similar to HJR 65 (2024).
