This bill specifies that anyone who uses a distinguishing disabled license plate or placard to park in a parking space designated as lift-van accessible who does not use a wheelchair or other assistive device that requires extra space to maneuver, or who is not transporting such a person, will be fined $50 for each violation. For a second or subsequent violation, the person's license plate or placard will be revoked by the Department of Revenue.
