Under this bill a state employee who works 10 hours per day and 40 hours per week will not be required to take two hours of annual leave on paid holidays. The employee may choose to be compensated only for an eight-hour workday on a state holiday.
This bill is similar to HB 895 (2023) and HB 1830 (2022) .
