Currently, the fees collected for boating safety identification cards are deposited into the General Revenue Fund. This bill specifies that the fees collected will now be deposited into the Water Patrol Division Fund, and limits the uses of these fees to statewide boating safety initiatives.
This bill is the same as HB 152 (2023).
