SPONSOR: Copeland
Upon voter approval, this resolution would require any state department that receives a profit from it's management of the state's natural resources to remit a portion of the profit to the county in which the resources are located. The General Assembly may enact laws to provide for a method and proportion of any money provided to the county.
This bill is the same as HJR 61 (2023).
