This bill permits non-governmental entities to compensate individuals tasked with soliciting voter registration applications. Such individuals must be registered with the Secretary of State as voter registration solicitors, and indicate whether they expect to be compensated and, if so, by whom.
This bill is the same as HB 508 (2023).
