HB 1702 -- DRIVER'S PROTECTION ACT

This bill creates the "Driver's Protection Act", which provides that no person will be stopped, inspected, or detained solely for a traffic violation that does not involve speeding or failure to register or re-register a vehicle, that does not involve an accident or injury, and that does not involve points assessed by the Department of Revenue.

This bill is the same as HB 210 (2023).
