Currently, in bankruptcy filings for relief under Chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code, a person is allowed to exempt from the estate, property that is exempt from attachment and execution under the law of the state of Missouri or federal law. The bill repeals the exception to claim as an exemption property that is listed in Title 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code, Section 522(d).
