This bill establishes the "Seventh Amendment Preservation Act", which specifies that the Constitutions of the United States and Missouri occupy and preempt legislation involving civil litigation and laws, rules, orders, or other actions that restrict a resident's day in court, and it provides certain protections for a citizen's constitutional rights to receive his or her day in court.
This bill is the same as HB 600 (2023).
