If an owner of a vehicle or vessel that is not abandoned under Chapter 304, RSMo, requests that the vehicle or vessel be towed to a storage or towing lot but does not make arrangements for the relocation or continued storage of the vehicle or vessel within 10 days, the vehicle or vessel will be deemed abandoned under Chapter 304 and its provisions will apply, including the provision that the towing company must notify the law enforcement agency with jurisdiction over the location of the towing storage lot.
This bill is the same as HB 705 (2023).
