HB 1529 -- ENDANGERING THE WELFARE OF A CHILD

SPONSOR: Buchheit-Courtway

This bill specifies that a person commits the offense of endangering the welfare of a child in the second degree if the person leaves a child under eight years of age in a motor vehicle and the child suffers injuries or dies as a result of being left unattended in the motor vehicle.

This bill is the same as HB 888 (2023).
