This bill defines a "telecommunicator first responder" as a person who receives, processes or transmits public safety information received through a 911 public safety answering point. This bill specifies that "first responders" now include "telecommunicator first responders" who are subject to specified training requirements.
This bill is similar to HB 2057 (2022).
