COMMITTEE ACTION: Voted "Do Pass" by the Standing Committee on Insurance by a vote of 13 to 0. Voted "Do Pass" by the Standing Committee on Rules- Legislative Oversight by a vote of 10 to 0.

This bill requires insurance producer licenses to be renewed on the producers birth date instead of the anniversary date of issuance of such license.

PROPONENTS: Supporters say that the bill will make insurance producer licenses renewable on a licensees birthday making it easier to remember time to renew. This will put Missouri in line with other states that currently do this.

Testifying for the bill were Representative Hill; Missouri Insurance Coalition; and the Missouri Association of Insurance Agents.

OPPONENTS: There was no opposition voiced to the committee.
