This bill appropriates $2,000,000 from the bond proceeds fund to the commissioner of transportation for a grant to Washington County. The funds are designated for improvements at the intersection of County State Aid Highway 10 (10th Street North), County State Aid Highway 17 (Lake Elmo Avenue), and County Road 17B in the city of Lake Elmo. The improvements will focus on traffic control, drainage and runoff management, as well as enhancements for pedestrian and bicycle facilities.

Additionally, the bill authorizes the commissioner of management and budget to sell and issue state bonds up to the amount of $2,000,000 to finance the appropriation. The bond sale will be conducted in accordance with the relevant Minnesota Statutes and the state constitution. The provisions of this bill will take effect the day following its final enactment.
