This bill appropriates $10,000,000 from the bond proceeds fund to the commissioner of public safety for a grant to the city of Cass Lake. The funds are designated for the construction, furnishing, and equipping of a new fire station facility, which will replace the existing fire hall. The new facility is planned to include living and administration space, vehicle and equipment storage, and a decontamination area aimed at improving firefighter health and safety.

Additionally, the bill authorizes the commissioner of management and budget to sell and issue state bonds up to the amount of $10,000,000 to provide the necessary funding.
