This bill appropriates $2,093,000 from the bond proceeds fund for the renovation and repair of the Minnesota Department of Agriculture's potato inspection facility located in East Grand Forks. The funds will be used for design, construction, and equipping the facility, as well as for hazardous materials abatement. This appropriation is in addition to a previous allocation made in Laws 2023, chapter 72, article 1, section 10.

To finance this appropriation, the bill authorizes the commissioner of management and budget to sell and issue state bonds up to the amount of $2,093,000, following the procedures outlined in Minnesota Statutes and the Minnesota Constitution. The provisions of this bill will take effect the day after it is enacted.
