This bill amends Minnesota Statutes 2024, section 239.791, subdivision 17, to modify the exemption criteria for the bulk delivery of nonoxygenated gasoline. The current law allows for the bulk delivery of unleaded premium grade gasoline under specific conditions, and the bill updates these conditions by deleting the previous paragraph (d) and replacing it with a new paragraph (e).
The new criteria stipulate that the bulk fuel delivery must be made directly into either the attached fuel tank of a vehicle that qualifies for an exemption or a bulk tank on the premises. Additionally, the bill maintains that nonoxygenated gasoline is only for use in exempt vehicles, limits the number of storage tanks to one, and caps the bulk delivery at 500 gallons or less.
