This bill modifies an existing appropriation for a capital project grant to Isuroon, an organization focused on supporting immigrant women and providing mental health counseling. The amendment allows for the construction and renovation of property located at 1600 East Lake Street in Minneapolis, with the provision that funds can be used to reimburse Isuroon for costs incurred after June 1, 2023.

Additionally, the bill introduces a provision that any remaining funds after the completion of the initial project can be utilized for acquiring property, as well as for the predesign, design, furnishing, equipping, renovation, and construction of a specialty care center in the metropolitan area. The effective date of this section is set for the day following its final enactment.
